Branch Operations Support Manager

About the role

The Branch Operations Support Manager leads the planning and execution of branch opening, relocation, renovation and closure projects while ensuring operational readiness across the network. This role works closely with branch management to maintain uninterrupted customer service and compliance with internal and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead branch opening, relocation, renovation and closure projects, managing milestones, timelines, budgets and operational readiness.
• Oversee branch setup, equipment installation and ensure operational readiness before launch.
• Manage ATM cash operations, including cassette handling, cash replenishment and resolution of cash shortages.
• Conduct branch assurance reviews to verify compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate operational support and staff deployment to branches facing manpower shortages, providing temporary coverage when needed.
• Identify operational risks, control weaknesses and process gaps, recommend corrective actions and monitor implementation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in branch banking, branch operations or banking operations.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Experience in branch setup projects, operational support, compliance reviews or ATM management is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of branch operations, operational risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
