Blender Specialist – Remote Contract

About the role

SME Careers is looking for an experienced Blender 3D artist to create realistic, challenging tasks that will be used to train next‑generation AI agents. Working remotely on an hourly contract, you will design and record step‑by‑step demonstrations of professional Blender workflows, providing both the raw data and clear success criteria for machine learning models.

Key responsibilities

• Design complex Blender tasks that reflect real‑world professional use cases.
• Record complete screen sessions using the provided recording tools, capturing every action, interface state, and file version.
• Document objective definitions, verification steps, and intermediate checkpoints for each task.
• Collaborate with the data‑science team to ensure recordings meet training and benchmarking standards.
• Iteratively refine tasks and success criteria based on feedback and model performance.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in Blender 3D, including mesh editing, modifiers, and rendering.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to articulate what constitutes a correct outcome.
• Experience creating clear, reproducible workflows and documentation.

Required skills
