Bank Teller

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Bank Teller to join our branch team, reporting directly to the Branch Manager. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality counter service, handling cash and non‑cash transactions, and supporting customers with their banking needs.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain professional grooming and uniform standards in line with the bank’s policy.
• Provide efficient and accurate banking transactions for both internal and external customers.
• Handle physical cash, ensuring daily deposits and withdrawals are processed and the cash drawer balances at the end of each day.
• Monitor cash balances throughout the day to stay within approved limits.
• Process non‑cash deposits such as cheque pay‑ins and reconcile them with balance inquiries.
• Balance daily house and outward cheques to ensure they tally.
• Open Savings, Current and Fixed Deposit accounts after receiving the necessary approvals.
• Address customer queries and requests promptly and courteously.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Proven ability to build credibility and maintain strong customer relationships in a front‑line role.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and able to align personal goals with branch objectives.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Additional language skills such as Chinese are a plus.

Required skills
