Backend Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Backend Developer to build and maintain the server‑side components that power our bank’s digital channels. You will work closely with the IT team, middleware providers and front‑end consumers to deliver reliable APIs for mobile and web applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend applications supporting bank digital channels.
• Integrate solutions with the bank’s middleware and expose/consume APIs for mobile and web apps.
• Collaborate with the Information Technology team to ensure smooth integration and operational stability.
• Monitor service health, identify and resolve issues promptly to maintain uptime.
• Keep application code and documentation up to date.
• Work with the Consumers Division to improve operational processes.
• Provide regular progress updates using established reporting templates.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in comprehensive backend application development.
• Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
• Strong analytical, technical, written and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience with PostgreSQL databases.
• Knowledge of the NestJS development framework.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices.
• Understanding of reactive programming concepts.
• Experience with MVVM or MVP design patterns.
