Associate Procurement Analyst (Entry Level)

About the role

The Associate Procurement Analyst supports NTT DATA’s purchasing function by analysing market outlooks, evaluating vendor proposals and assisting with the acquisition of goods and services. This entry‑level position offers exposure to the full procurement lifecycle, from requisition to contract management.

Key responsibilities

• Act as liaison between internal business units and external vendors.
• Review and process purchase requisitions to ensure timely order submission.
• Analyze comparative cost data received during RFP processes.
• Support contract negotiations to agree on pricing and performance standards.
• Inspect and test product samples, documenting features and benefits for final purchasing decisions.
• Record vendor costs and generate monthly cost reports for stakeholders.
• Monitor market trends and maintain up‑to‑date information on material availability.
• Contribute to cost‑savings initiatives and identify new supplier opportunities.
• Track order fulfilment against purchase orders to guarantee on‑time delivery.
• Perform additional tasks as requested by management.

Required profile

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Relevant certifications such as CSCP or CPIM (preferred).
• Entry‑level experience in procurement, cost‑benefit analysis, or supplier evaluation.
• Understanding of cost‑benefit analysis processes.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
