Assistant to Maintenance Manager

About the role

The Assistant to the Maintenance Manager supports procurement, supplier management and customs clearance activities for the maintenance department. This full‑time position works closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in market research for new sources of goods and services.
• Review specifications, delivery conditions and payment terms.
• Obtain supplier quotes, prepare quote analyses and support management approvals.
• Maintain contact with suppliers to track deliveries and service performance.
• Update supplier and price databases regularly.
• Handle issues such as defective goods, damages or returns.
• Issue quotations, purchase orders and contracts for departmental approval.
• Coordinate with transport agents and customs to manage shipments and clearance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing or a related field.
• 3‑5 years experience in procurement, shipment and customs clearance, preferably with Cambodian customs.
• Knowledge of procurement processes in the power, energy or infrastructure sectors is an asset.
• Strong teamwork ability in a multicultural environment and under strict deadlines.
