Air Freight Specialist

About the role

Maersk is seeking an Air Freight Specialist to manage export and import air shipments, primarily from its Phnom Penh office. The role involves direct customer interaction, coordination with internal and overseas teams, and ensuring high‑quality service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage export and import air shipments, including truck arrangement, packing, customs clearance, air space booking, and document issuance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring satisfaction through timely and accurate service.
• Execute daily operations to meet KPIs, prepare reports, and handle billing.
• Negotiate with vendors, maximize gross profit, create and follow SOPs, and troubleshoot issues.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of customer‑facing experience in 3PL or logistics, with airfreight export experience preferred.
• Native Khmer proficiency and professional English level.
• Strong self‑organization, accuracy, and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed and a proactive, "can‑do" attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
