Accounting Officer

About the role

The Accounting Officer will join inva real estate investment valuation co, a real‑estate focused firm, to manage day‑to‑day accounting operations and financial reporting. Working remotely on a full‑time basis, you will support the company’s investment valuation activities by ensuring accurate financial records and timely insights.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements on a regular basis.
• Record, reconcile and post all financial transactions in the general ledger.
• Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely processing.
• Use accounting software to document and monitor financial data.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis for real‑estate projects.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, especially in real‑estate investment contexts.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Experience preparing and interpreting financial statements.
