Accounting Manager

About the role

The Accounting Manager will lead day‑to‑day accounting operations across multiple stores, ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and full compliance with Cambodian accounting and tax regulations. This position works closely with Operations, Procurement and other departments to support new store openings and drive financial efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounting activities, including full Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger processes for all assigned stores.
• Review invoices, payment requests, journal entries and supporting documentation.
• Oversee month‑end and year‑end closing, preparing monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Analyze financial performance, operating expenses and key variances.
• Ensure compliance with Cambodian Accounting Standards, VAT, WHT, TOI and other statutory requirements; coordinate with auditors and tax advisors.
• Support inventory reconciliation, store expense reviews and internal control monitoring.
• Lead accounting setup for new store openings, including business and tax registration, banking and system implementation.
• Coach and develop the accounting team, assigning workloads and driving process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 5–7 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Proven experience managing accounting operations for multiple branches or stores.
• Strong knowledge of AP, AR, GL, taxation, financial reporting and internal controls.
