Accounting and Tax Specialist (Full‑time, Phnom Penh)

About the role

The Accounting and Tax Specialist will join Making It Easy Co., LTD in Phnom Penh, working on‑site to deliver accurate financial reporting and tax compliance for both local and international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
• Record journal entries and maintain accurate bookkeeping using accounting software.
• Handle monthly and annual tax filings, calculate and reconcile tax liabilities.
• Ensure compliance with Cambodian tax regulations and reporting standards.
• Analyze financial data, support audits, and provide insights to stakeholders.
• Advise clients and internal teams on accounting and tax matters.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional service teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Maintain clear documentation for all accounting and tax activities.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in finance and financial‑statement preparation.
• Hands‑on experience with accounting software and journal‑entry recording.
• Analytical mindset with ability to identify discrepancies and provide insights.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; ACCA or CPA certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of Cambodian tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
• Attention to detail, strong numerical skills, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Effective communication in English; Khmer proficiency is highly beneficial.
• Collaborative work style and high ethical standards.
