Account Vice Manager

About the role

The Account Vice Manager will lead month‑end and year‑end closing activities, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support the development of accounting procedures. This senior position works closely with production, finance, and audit teams to maintain compliance with Cambodian tax regulations and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise month‑end and year‑end closing according to management timelines.
• Develop and refine accounting procedures and operational workflows.
• Review journal entries, sales, collections, bank deposits, and COGS transactions.
• Monitor revenue recognition, sales adjustments, rebates, discounts, and promotional transactions.
• Validate supplier invoices, inventory receipts, transfers, returns, and stock adjustments.
• Oversee inventory movements, variances, damaged, expired, and obsolete items, ensuring proper accounting treatment.
• Coordinate with production to reconcile daily output.
• Prepare AP/AP aging, inventory, and supporting schedules for closing periods.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, franchise agreements, and Cambodian tax regulations.
• Provide guidance and coaching to supervised staff.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and tax authorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a leadership or supervisory accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, income tax, and banking.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on precision and meeting deadlines.
