Technical Engineer (Khmer-speaking) – Cambodia

About the role

The Technical Engineer will support the formulation and testing of new or modified construction materials, analyse performance data to improve durability, cost‑efficiency and environmental compliance, and provide technical assistance to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the formulation and testing of new products or modified materials.
• Analyze product performance data to improve durability, cost‑efficiency, or environmental compliance.
• Prepare technical datasheets, test reports, and complaint resolution documents.
• Provide on‑site or remote technical assistance for product application, installation, or performance issues.
• Coordinate laboratory testing for product properties such as strength, durability and setting time.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience as a civil technical engineer or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of product standards and test methods (ASTM, ISO, EN, etc.).
• Good communication skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
• Willingness to travel to provinces as needed and to work with Kampot Cement Co., Ltd. in Phnom Penh.
