Tax Intern

About the role

Join EY’s tax practice as a Tax Intern and support our clients in managing their tax obligations responsibly. You will work within a high‑performing team, receive coaching and training, and gain exposure to a variety of tax engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical contributions to client engagements and internal tax projects.
• Execute work plans, assist in preparing tax reports and deliverables for clients.
• Establish and maintain internal and external relationships.
• Identify and flag potential business opportunities on existing engagements.
• Anticipate risks, suggest improvements, and ensure high‑quality delivery.

Required profile

• Agile, growth‑oriented mindset with curiosity and purpose‑driven attitude.
• Inclusive approach that embraces diverse perspectives.
• A degree (preferably with emphasis in accounting, finance, economics, law or related field).
• Relevant experience in finance, accounting, law or tax environments.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of current and emerging tax implications.
• Ability to apply tax knowledge to client situations.
