Senior Report Development Officer

About the role

The Senior Report Development Officer will support the Report Development Unit manager in planning, executing and supervising reporting activities for the bank. The role combines database development, ad‑hoc reporting, and continuous improvement of BI and data‑warehouse solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the unit manager in creating and monitoring activity plans for the reporting team.
• Design and implement database objects such as functions, packages, stored procedures and support data‑mining tasks.
• Produce ad‑hoc reports and data extracts for internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain confidentiality and enforce information‑security policies, including access restrictions and audit logging.
• Provide end‑user support, update documentation, manuals and procedures.
• Ensure reporting system availability and perform performance tuning.
• Research and develop new features using BI tools, data analytics, data‑warehouse and Big Data technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, MIS or a related field.
• Strong English communication skills (speaking, writing and listening).
• Ability to work under pressure, independently and collaboratively within a team.

Required skills

• Database design and manipulation (functions, views, tables, stored procedures).
• Programming languages and databases: PHP, C#, VB.NET, SQL, PL/SQL, SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle.
• Oracle BI Publisher and OBIEE architecture, deployment, reporting, data modeling and repository creation.
• Data‑mining, BI tools, data analytics, data‑warehouse and Big Data technologies.
• Performance tuning and ensuring high availability of reporting systems.
