Senior Procurement Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Procurement Officer to support our purchasing activities in Phnom Penh. The role involves sourcing new suppliers, managing quotations, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services for the company.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in market research to identify new sources of goods and services.
• Review specifications, delivery conditions and payment terms to ensure suitability.
• Obtain supplier quotes, perform quote analysis and obtain management approval.
• Maintain communication with suppliers to guarantee on‑time delivery and service fulfillment.
• Update and maintain supplier and price databases regularly.
• Coordinate with transport agents and customs to manage shipments and customs clearance.
• Handle issues such as defective goods, damages, and returns.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, shipment and customs clearance, preferably with Cambodia customs and transport agents.
• Knowledge of procurement processes in the power, energy or infrastructure sectors is an asset.
• Up‑to‑date understanding of Cambodian customs and tax regulations.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
