Senior Procurement Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Procurement Officer to support our purchasing and logistics operations in Phnom Penh. The role will involve sourcing new suppliers, managing purchase requests and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in market research to identify new sources of goods and services.
• Review specifications, delivery terms and payment conditions for appropriateness.
• Obtain supplier quotes, prepare quote analysis and secure management approval.
• Maintain contact with suppliers to ensure on‑time delivery and compliance with purchase orders or service contracts.
• Update and maintain supplier and price databases regularly.
• Coordinate with transport agents and customs authorities to manage shipments and customs clearance.
• Handle issues such as defective goods, damages or returns and communicate status to requestors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, shipment and customs clearance, preferably with Cambodian customs.
• Familiarity with procurement processes in the power, energy or infrastructure sectors is an asset.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
