Senior Procurement Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Procurement Officer to support our sourcing, purchasing and customs clearance activities in Phnom Penh. The role involves coordinating with suppliers, internal departments and transport agents to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in market research to identify new sources of goods and services.
• Review specifications, delivery conditions and payment terms for appropriateness.
• Obtain supplier quotations, perform quote analysis and prepare purchase orders or contracts for management approval.
• Maintain regular contact with suppliers to monitor delivery schedules and resolve issues such as defects or returns.
• Update and maintain supplier and price databases, ensuring accurate contact information.
• Coordinate with transport agents and customs authorities to manage shipment and customs clearance, ensuring timely processing.
• Document all procurement activities, including quotations, purchase orders and service contracts, in line with retention policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in procurement, shipment management and customs clearance, preferably with Cambodia customs.
• Familiarity with procurement practices in the power, energy or infrastructure sectors is an asset.
• Strong analytical and negotiation abilities, and the capacity to work under strict deadlines in a multicultural environment.
