Senior Officer, Native Developer

About the role

We are looking for a senior professional to lead our Native Mobile Unit, providing technical direction and mentorship for Android and iOS teams. The role owns the full lifecycle of PPCBank’s native mobile applications, from architecture through production support.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Native Mobile Unit, conduct architecture and code reviews, and mentor Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift) developers.
• Own end‑to‑end technical delivery of Android and iOS apps, including architecture, security, build, release, and production support.
• Design hybrid/partial‑native solutions with WebView, JavaScript bridges, native plugins and ensure seamless communication with backend APIs.
• Optimize cold‑start and warm‑start times, memory usage, WebView performance, large assets handling, network behavior and crash/ANR rates.
• Implement robust dynamic content download, caching, resumable transfers, integrity validation, atomic installation and rollback mechanisms.
• Manage build configurations, signing, certificates, provisioning, CI/CD pipelines and releases through Google Play, Apple App Store and Huawei AppGallery.
• Investigate production incidents using logs, Firebase Crashlytics, Android profiling tools and Xcode Instruments, leading root‑cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Establish native development standards for architecture, coding, security, testing, branching, versioning and release governance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum five years of professional mobile development experience with Kotlin for Android and Swift for iOS.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor native mobile developers and to conduct code reviews and set technical standards.
• Hands‑on experience delivering production‑grade banking, fintech or payments applications.
• Strong understanding of mobile lifecycle, background processing, memory management, networking and error handling.
