Senior Officer, IT Native Mobile Development

About the role

We are seeking a senior officer to lead our Native Mobile Unit, taking full technical ownership of Android and iOS banking applications. The role combines architecture design, performance optimisation, security, release management and production support.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Native Mobile Unit, providing architecture reviews, code reviews and mentoring for Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift) developers.
• Own end‑to‑end development, build, release and support of bank mobile apps, including hybrid/partial‑native components such as WebView and JavaScript bridges.
• Optimise cold‑start, memory usage, network handling and crash rates, especially under slow or unstable network conditions.
• Design and maintain dynamic content download, caching, resumable transfer, integrity validation and rollback mechanisms.
• Manage build configurations, signing, certificates, CI/CD pipelines and releases through Google Play, Apple App Store and Huawei AppGallery.
• Investigate production incidents using logs, Firebase Crashlytics, Android profiling tools and Xcode Instruments, leading root‑cause analysis and preventive actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least five years of professional mobile development experience with Kotlin for Android and Swift for iOS.
• Proven experience leading or mentoring native mobile developers and establishing technical standards.
• Hands‑on experience delivering production banking or fintech applications on both Android and iOS.
• Strong English communication skills, both spoken and written.
