Senior Officer, IT Audit

About the role

The Senior Officer, IT Audit leads risk‑based audit activities across the bank’s technology environment. The role provides independent assurance on IT governance, controls, security and data management while working closely with IT, risk, compliance and business units.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute IT audit assignments covering governance, infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, access management and change management.
• Assess IT General Controls, evaluate design and operating effectiveness, and identify control gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Perform testing of banking applications, digital platforms, payment systems and cloud services.
• Coordinate with Cybersecurity, IT Governance and Risk Management teams during audit engagements.
• Document findings, root causes, risks and recommendations; follow up on remediation actions.
• Maintain audit working papers, ensure compliance with internal audit methodology and quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in IT audit, IT risk, cybersecurity or IT governance, preferably in a bank or regulated financial institution.
• Professional certifications in IT audit, information security or internal audit are an advantage.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking and communication skills.
