Senior IT Support Officer

About the role

The Senior IT Support Officer will provide technical assistance and oversight for the head office and branch staff, ensuring all IT infrastructure runs smoothly and securely.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot IP phone systems, computer peripherals, printers, networking, internet, email, security, data backup and recovery across head office and branches.
• Install and update software, configure networks, manage antivirus solutions, and support Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Train end‑users on new software, PC maintenance, and IT best practices, while reinforcing IT policies, system security and compliance.
• Provide ongoing maintenance support, perform regular system checks, and travel frequently to branch locations as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, MIS or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of IT/MIS/Telecom experience in micro‑finance, banking or financial services, with at least one year in a banking environment.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills, high integrity and ability to work under pressure.
