Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

The Senior Internal Auditor will work full‑time on site in Phnom Penh, leading internal audit engagements across the organization. This role ensures compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements while identifying risks and recommending practical improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute internal audit engagements, reviewing financial records, processes and controls.
• Prepare clear audit reports that document findings, conclusions and recommendations.
• Identify risk areas, control weaknesses and propose corrective actions.
• Perform analytical reviews and test internal controls.
• Support the development and enhancement of audit methodologies and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, communicate audit findings and follow up on remediation actions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of governance, risk management and the overall control environment.

Required profile

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational data.
• Experience in financial audits and internal control assessments.
• Proficiency in preparing and reviewing audit reports.
• Effective communication skills for presenting complex information to diverse stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field; CPA, CIA or ACCA preferred.
• Previous senior‑level internal or external auditing experience.
• High integrity, professional ethics and commitment to confidentiality.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple assignments.
