Senior Data Manager

About the role

The Institut Pasteur du Cambodge is seeking a Senior Data Manager to lead data workflows for large‑scale, multi‑sectoral epidemiological studies. The role sits in the Methodology and Data Analysis Group and reports to the Head of the group.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise data management for One Health surveys and longitudinal studies, including design of REDCap, KoboToolbox or ODK collection platforms.
• Develop electronic case report forms, maintain version control, and implement quality‑control procedures and data cleaning.
• Define and monitor Data Quality Indicators and create automated dashboards with Power BI for real‑time oversight of recruitment, sample collection, laboratory processing and field activities.
• Supervise field data assistants and junior data staff, provide training, and coordinate with investigators and field coordinators.
• Prepare clean datasets for statistical analysis, support preliminary analyses in Stata or R, and contribute to technical reports and scientific manuscripts.
• Ensure data security, pseudonymisation, and compliance with Cambodian and international ethical standards.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Data Science, Biostatistics, Computer Science, Epidemiology, Public Health, GIS or related field.
• 3‑5 years of professional experience in data management for epidemiological, clinical or public‑health research.
• Proven experience with digital data collection systems such as REDCap, KoboToolbox or ODK.
