Senior Business Development Executive – Chinese Speaking

About the role

The Senior Business Development Executive – Chinese Speaking will lead the acquisition and growth of corporate and individual clients within the Chinese‑speaking market in Cambodia. Based in Phnom Penh, the role combines lead generation, relationship management and the presentation of a full suite of insurance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities targeting Chinese‑speaking corporate and individual clients.
• Generate leads, build and maintain client relationships, and present tailored insurance products.
• Manage key accounts, negotiate terms in line with company guidelines, and coordinate with underwriting, claims and operations teams.
• Conduct market research, prepare proposals and presentations, and track sales performance.
• Contribute to strategic business development plans and support portfolio growth.
• Communicate regularly in Mandarin Chinese and English with clients, partners and internal stakeholders.
• Travel locally as required to meet clients and attend events.

Required profile

• Proven new‑business development and lead‑generation experience, preferably in insurance or financial services.
• Strong business and account‑management capabilities with a track record of meeting sales targets.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and proficient in English; Khmer is a plus.
• Analytical and organizational skills to manage multiple opportunities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or a related field.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Phnom Penh and travel locally.
