About the role
We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to design, develop and maintain robust Java‑based services that support our business operations. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, scalable solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications using Java and the Spring Framework.
- Design, analyze, and optimise database structures for performance and scalability.
- Lead database design, data modelling and performance‑optimisation initiatives.
- Plan, coordinate and execute application releases, including testing and deployment across environments.
- Support DevOps activities such as CI/CD pipeline management, environment setup and infrastructure maintenance.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
- Strong problem‑solving, analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and cloud‑native concepts.
Required skills
- Java and Spring Framework.
- SQL and relational database management systems.
- Microservices architecture and API‑based development.
- Solid understanding of SOLID principles and clean coding standards.
- DevOps tools such as Jira, Git, Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
