Sales Officer (Construction Materials)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Sales Officer to drive sales of steel, ceramic and cement products in Cambodia’s construction sector. You will execute sales plans, hunt new customers and manage the full sales cycle to meet monthly and annual targets.

Key responsibilities

• Execute sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
• Identify and acquire new customers, projects and business opportunities through field visits, networking and market research.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key decision‑makers.
• Visit customer sites to understand requirements, project status and competitor activities.
• Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to quotation, negotiation and closing.
• Prepare quotations, product proposals and samples, and follow up to secure orders.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs and competitor activities, reporting key findings.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure product availability, order processing and timely delivery.
• Follow up customer payments and resolve issues as needed.
• Prepare regular sales, customer visit, pipeline and new‑customer reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or a related field.
• 1–3 years of sales experience, preferably in construction materials, steel, ceramic or cement.
• Proven ability to hunt and develop new customers while managing existing accounts.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently for customer and site visits.
