Sales Manager – Chinese Speaking

About the role

Flexport is expanding its sales organization in Asia and is looking for a Sales Manager who can grow the business with Chinese customers across its full suite of logistics services. The role combines logistics expertise with a technology‑driven approach to win new business and deepen relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new Chinese customers and drive acquisition across ocean, air freight, customs, trucking and warehousing services.
• Research territories and verticals to identify and build relationships with potential Chinese clients.
• Close net‑new business and grow Flexport’s portfolio across all product lines.
• Consult with clients to understand logistics and supply‑chain needs and propose integrated solutions.
• Lead onboarding, coordinating internal teams to ensure smooth transitions.
• Maintain an assigned portfolio while prioritising new‑business development and deal closure.
• Monitor market trends, pricing shifts and policy changes and communicate them to the portfolio.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Commercial Planning, Product and other teams to align offerings with market insights.

Required profile

• 5+ years of shipping or logistics experience, including 2–3 years in quota‑carrying sales in the Asian market.
• Fluency in Khmer, English and Chinese.
• Strong knowledge of ocean freight, air freight, customs, trucking and general logistics services.
• Executive‑level communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to build lasting relationships with decision‑makers and influencers.
• Self‑motivated, resilient and adaptable in a fast‑paced international environment.
