About the role
A remote open‑source contributor position is open for experienced software engineers with a proven record of building or maintaining open‑source projects. The contractor will support an AI‑training initiative that involves repository analysis, software development, debugging, testing, and code evaluation.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze unfamiliar software repositories and reproduce technical issues.
- Develop and debug front‑end and back‑end components across multiple languages.
- Trace execution through interfaces, services, libraries, APIs, databases, and external dependencies.
- Investigate software issues and implement architecture‑compatible solutions.
- Create unit, integration, regression, and end‑to‑end tests.
- Review AI‑generated patches for correctness, security, completeness, and maintainability.
Required profile
- Public or otherwise verifiable GitHub profile with meaningful ownership or contributions to open‑source repositories.
- Strong software‑engineering experience and ability to work with unfamiliar codebases.
- Experience with multiple programming languages.

What we offer
