Relationship Manager – Payroll Business/ Transaction Banking

About the role

The Payroll Business Relationship Manager is responsible for managing the bank's payroll services business, focusing on strengthening relationships with existing customers while driving the acquisition of new payroll accounts and other bank products.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with existing payroll clients and serve as the primary point of contact for their payroll needs.
• Identify and acquire new payroll clients, growing the bank’s payroll portfolio and meeting business objectives.
• Promote and cross‑sell the bank’s full suite of products, including loans, credit cards, investment opportunities, insurance, and business loans.
• Monitor performance against targets, prepare regular reports on new accounts, deposit growth, customer satisfaction and cross‑sell success.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of payroll services and provide guidance to junior staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in banking, financial services or payroll solutions with a focus on client relationship management or business development.
• Proven track record in meeting sales targets and building long‑term customer relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with banking software.
• Experience using payroll systems.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite.
