Quality Control Supervisor – Food Manufacturing

About the role

A growing food manufacturing company is seeking an experienced and responsible Quality Control Supervisor to join the Production Team. This position maintains food safety and quality standards across raw materials, processing, and finished products while leading the daily activities of the QC team.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain food safety systems and certifications such as HACCP, BRCGS, FSMA, and ISO 22000.
• Develop, review, and update SOPs and quality procedures.
• Lead internal and third‑party food safety audits.
• Manage product traceability and recall systems.
• Oversee environmental monitoring, pest control, and hygiene programs.
• Conduct quality control activities for raw materials, processing stages, and finished goods.
• Monitor raw cashew quality (moisture, nut count, out‑turn) and key processing stages.
• Investigate customer complaints, perform root‑cause analysis and implement CAPA.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance within food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of food safety systems, GMP, SOPs, audits, and CAPA.
• Experience in cashew or nut processing is highly preferred.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and leadership abilities.
