Project Scheduler for Onshore Wind Farm

About the role

The Project Scheduler will develop, maintain, and monitor the master schedule for an onshore wind farm project, supporting the Project Manager from design through construction and commissioning. This role coordinates activities across engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain the master schedule in Primavera P6, MS Project or equivalent, covering all project phases.
• Coordinate schedule inputs and progress updates with EPC contractors, turbine suppliers, civil works contractors, and internal teams.
• Identify critical path, float, key milestones and report variances, proposing mitigation and recovery plans.
• Estimate delays linked to changes and claims, preparing Extension of Time analyses.
• Support creation of Level 1‑5 schedules and interface schedules (substation, grid connection, WTG installation).
• Incorporate constraints such as weather windows, logistics, permitting, and environmental restrictions.
• Monitor progress against baseline schedules and costs, reviewing weekly/monthly contractor reports.
• Prepare S‑curves, look‑ahead schedules, progress narratives, and resource histograms as required.
• Facilitate regular schedule review meetings with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Maintain schedule documentation, including baseline approvals, revisions, and change logs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of scheduling and coordination experience on large infrastructure or renewable energy projects.
• Proven experience using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Experience working with EPC contracts, turbine suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams is highly preferred.
