About the role
The Project Cost Accountant will join the Finance & Accounting department of BBE Group, supporting project teams by managing budgets, tracking costs and ensuring accurate financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and develop project budgets together with Project Managers, estimating costs for materials, labor, machinery and equipment.
- Track and record actual project costs, monitor spending against approved budgets and prevent cost overruns.
- Analyze budget versus actual costs, identify variances and recommend corrective actions to management.
- Prepare progress billing, client invoices and coordinate payments to subcontractors and suppliers.
- Produce regular project cost reports, monitor profitability and flag potential financial risks.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in project or cost accounting, preferably within construction.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, costing and financial analysis.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong analytical abilities.
