Program Manager, Assistive Technology & Eye Health

About the role

CHAI Cambodia is seeking an initiative‑taking Program Manager to lead its growing Assistive Technology and Eye Health portfolio. The role provides strategic, technical and programmatic leadership to design, implement, scale‑up and institutionalize high‑impact interventions that improve equitable access to quality, affordable assistive technology and eye health services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement program strategies, annual work plans, budgets and performance frameworks for both Assistive Technology and Eye Health portfolios.
• Provide day‑to‑day management of AT workstreams—including mobility, rehabilitation, vision, product procurement, community engagement and systems strengthening.
• Strengthen government systems for need identification, assessment, referral, provision, follow‑up and sustainable financing of assistive products and eye health services.
• Coordinate with ministries, provincial health departments, development partners, donors and CHAI global teams to ensure alignment, accountability and effective partnership.
• Oversee grant and financial management, monitoring, evaluation, learning and team development to meet program objectives and donor commitments.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale health programs, preferably in assistive technology, eye health or related public‑health sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to work closely with government counterparts, donors and implementing partners to design and scale interventions.
• Strong expertise in program design, implementation, monitoring & evaluation, and financial/grant management.
• Leadership skills to supervise a multidisciplinary team and drive results in a government‑led environment.
• Willingness to work in Cambodia and adapt to a contingent, funding‑dependent position.
