Production Manager (Canned Fish)

About the role

The Production Manager will lead daily operations for canned fish manufacturing, ensuring that production targets, quality standards, and safety regulations are consistently met. This role coordinates all aspects of the production line, from raw material handling to finished product packaging.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and supervise daily production activities to achieve output targets.
• Monitor the entire production flow, from raw material preparation to finished goods, and resolve bottlenecks.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, sanitation and quality requirements in partnership with QA/QC.
• Coordinate production planning, raw‑material consumption and inventory with Procurement and Warehouse.
• Track production costs, labour utilisation and material yields; prepare performance reports for management.
• Lead, coach and schedule the production team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in food technology, food science, industrial engineering, fisheries or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of food manufacturing experience, including 2–3 years in a supervisory or management position.
• Strong knowledge of food‑safety systems such as HACCP, GMP or ISO.
• Fluent in Khmer and English with good communication and reporting skills.

Required skills

• HACCP implementation and monitoring.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general Office suite.
