Overseas Branch Manager – Siem Reap

About the role

The Overseas Branch Manager will lead the Siem Reap sub‑branch of Krungthai Bank, ensuring operational excellence, sustainable growth, and full compliance with both bank policies and Cambodian regulations. This senior role reports directly to the Branch Head and acts as the primary risk owner for the location.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute branch business strategies aligned with the bank’s overall objectives.
• Oversee deposit services, cash handling, foreign exchange counters, and all related transactions.
• Supervise lending activities, evaluate credit applications within delegated authority, and monitor portfolio compliance.
• Manage daily cash operations, liquidity, and foreign exchange rate risk.
• Administer international trade finance, including import/export transactions and bank guarantees.
• Coordinate accounting functions, regulatory capital calculations, tax reporting, and employee welfare contributions.
• Build and maintain client relationships while identifying new business opportunities.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, risk management frameworks, and local legal requirements.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate lending, syndicated or international loans, and debt restructuring.
• Current Vice President (VP) level or higher in a commercial bank or financial institution.
• Deep knowledge of banking products, overseas branch operations, and Chinese regulatory environment.
• Proven leadership, problem‑analysis, and decision‑making capabilities.
• Excellent command of Thai and English; proficiency in the local language is an advantage.
• Prior experience working in China or on overseas assignments is highly valued.
