Open Source GitHub Maintainer – Remote Contractor

About the role

This remote contractor position is for experienced software engineers who actively maintain or contribute to open‑source repositories. You will evaluate AI‑generated code patches across multiple programming languages, provide clear written feedback, and take part in peer‑review processes.

Key responsibilities

• Review code patches generated by large language models and assess their technical quality.
• Document reasoning and feedback for each evaluation in written form.
• Conduct peer reviews of submissions from other technical contributors.
• Maintain consistent activity on the project and communicate availability during onboarding.

Required profile

• Proven experience maintaining or contributing to open‑source repositories, with a public GitHub or GitLab profile showcasing relevant work.
• Senior‑level software engineering judgment and the ability to explain technical decisions clearly in writing.
• Comfort with evaluating code changes in languages such as C++, Java, TypeScript, Rust, Go, Python, and C.
