Medium Business Loan Officer - Level 1

About the role

The Medium Business Loan Officer is responsible for acquiring and onboarding medium‑size business loan clients, conducting credit investigations, and ensuring high‑quality loan underwriting for the branch.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and grow a portfolio of medium business clients in line with loan policies.
• Collect required client documents, verify eligibility, and compile financial statements and credit histories.
• Conduct credit investigations, financial analysis, property evaluations, and assess repayment capacity.
• Perform site visits to gather detailed information on loan purpose and collateral security.
• Prepare comprehensive credit appraisal reports and submit them for approval.
• Explain loan products, cross‑sell additional banking services, and address client inquiries.
• Monitor loan repayment, manage delinencies, and ensure portfolio risk stays within limits.
• Coordinate with head office on post‑disbursement conditions and compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, banking, accounting or a related field.
• Minimum one year of experience in banking or financial services.
• Good knowledge of branch operations, loan policies, credit risk management, and relevant regulations.
• Strong presentation, sales, and customer‑service skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluency in both Khmer and English.
