Marketing Intern – Social Media & Content Creation

About the role

UMAMI is looking for a creative Marketing Intern to own the brand’s presence across social media and visual content. You will work directly with the founding team, gaining hands‑on experience in content creation, community management, influencer collaborations, PR, and offline activations.

Key responsibilities

• Create and publish engaging posts, reels, stories, and carousels on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Shoot and edit photo and video content, including merchant stories, user testimonials, and event coverage.
• Design visual assets such as posters, promo materials, and event flyers using Canva, Figma or Adobe Suite.
• Manage day‑to‑day social media community interactions (comments, DMs, tags) and repost user‑generated content.
• Support influencer outreach, briefing, content coordination and performance reporting.
• Assist press outreach to Cambodian and international media and prepare communications for institutional partners.
• Help coordinate offline marketing materials (flyers, QR codes, banners) for events and pop‑ups.
• Own specific projects like the September launch campaign, building a creator collective, and producing merchant marketing packs.

Required profile

• Creative mindset with a strong eye for aesthetics and storytelling.

• Proficiency with Canva.
