Market Research Assistant

About the role

WECARE Insurance Broker is seeking a motivated Market Research Assistant to join its fast‑growing team. This permanent, full‑time position offers the chance to apply analytical, coding, and business‑thinking skills in an international insurance environment across Southeast Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research to analyze industry dynamics, consumer behavior and identify business opportunities.
• Analyze internal and external data to spot trends, risks and growth prospects.
• Create and maintain databases, dashboards and KPI reports using tools such as Power BI, Google Data Studio or Looker.
• Monitor market trends and best practices in business intelligence.
• Support strategic planning, market forecasts and competitive analysis.
• Develop and maintain web forms, microsites and internal tools (WordPress, HTML/CSS/JS).
• Set up and analyse A/B tests, contributing to conversion‑optimization projects.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales and strategy teams to turn data into actionable plans.
• Present insights in clear formats, including decks for C‑level executives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Data Science, Economics or a related field (fresh graduates welcome).
• Strong analytical, quantitative and strategic thinking abilities.
• Comfortable working with large datasets, Excel/Google Sheets and reporting dashboards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Interest in digital business models, insurance and Southeast Asian markets.
