Manager, Trade Sales

About the role

The Manager, Trade Sales is responsible for achieving the sales budget, delivering sales and revenue targets for existing customers, and identifying new sales opportunities. The role also provides high‑quality advisory services on trade finance and cash management to both existing and potential clients.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve the sales budget as defined in the balanced scorecard.
• Deliver sales and revenue targets for existing customers and pursue new sales opportunities.
• Provide advisory services on trade finance and cash management.
• Manage the sales pipeline, including up‑selling and cross‑selling of bank products and solutions.
• Collaborate with product partners and other channels within Maybank Cambodia to deepen wallet size and increase market utilization of trade and cash‑management solutions.
• Plan, execute and manage all aspects of Trade and Cash Management FI products and strategy.
• Assist in improving product features and develop new product packaging or promotions.
• Monitor trade finance and cash‑management transactions to ensure operational support and risk controls.
• Ensure compliance with Cambodian laws, regulations and internal policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Banking, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in a growth‑sales environment.
• Advanced English proficiency in both written and spoken communication.
• Strong track record in achieving sales targets.
• Understanding of trade regulations and rules such as UCP600 and URDG758.
• Knowledge of working capital, accounts payable and receivable resolutions.
• Deep understanding of financial management, reporting definitions and cost allocation principles within a financial institution.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
