Manager of Retail Loan Support Unit

About the role

The Manager of the Retail Loan Support Unit will lead the retail lending business, overseeing products such as Smart/Payroll Loans, Dream Car Loans, and Mortgages. This role is based at the Head Office in Phnom Penh and focuses on driving growth, maintaining portfolio quality, and building strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Drive retail lending business and monitor daily sales activities.
• Maintain and improve the existing retail loan portfolio.
• Develop partnerships with car dealers, housing developers, and private companies.
• Monitor branch performance of retail lending.
• Grow loan portfolio through relationships with retail businesses.
• Maintain client relationships for cross‑selling and identify potential clients for regular visits.
• Ensure loan processing complies with bank policies, NBC regulations, and internal controls.
• Handle client complaints and propose solutions.
• Coach and train branch staff on retail lending.
• Perform other tasks assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or related fields (Master’s degree is an advantage).
• 5–7 years of relevant banking experience, preferably in retail lending, credit operations or loan administration.
• 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial position.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with retail clients.
• Excellent knowledge of the retail market and client handling.
• Strong understanding of retail lending processes, credit policies, loan documentation and banking operations.
• Good grasp of credit risk, operational risk and regulatory requirements.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving, analytical and decision‑making skills.
• Effective communication and coordination abilities.
