Logistics Officer

About the role

Conservation International's Cambodia Program works in the Central Cardamom Mountains since 2001, supporting the long-term conservation of Phnom Kravanh National Park. The Logistics Officer leads and coordinates all logistics functions, including fleet, administration and asset management, so that organizational operations run smoothly and comply with organizational policies. The position is based in the Phnom Penh office and may require extended hours and occasional travel to provinces.

Key responsibilities

• Fleet management: guide drivers (own and rented vehicles), keep vehicles clean, safe and well maintained, manage maintenance schedules and costs, book vehicles, coordinate rentals and record mileage.
• Security and safety: consult with Senior Management on the safety and well-being of staff and visitors, and prepare agreements for office, garage, fuel and parking services.
• Administration: handle incoming and outgoing mail and documents, manage the front desk and reception, arrange meeting rooms and venues, and oversee office lease agreements.
• Asset and inventory management: control storage, issue and track assets, conduct periodic physical counts, update the Business World system, and manage repairs, donations and disposal.
• Additional duties: work with Procurement on the corporate garage, check the post office box weekly, provide driving service when needed, and perform other assigned tasks.

Required profile

• Up to 2 years of experience in logistics, procurement or supply chain.
• Supervisory experience managing drivers.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or a relevant field preferred.
• Good communication in Khmer and English, written and spoken.
• Team player, able to meet tight deadlines and work long hours when required.

Required skills

• Good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email.
• Experience with the Business World system is a plus.
