Logistics Assistant

About the role

The Logistics Assistant will support the Logistics Team by preparing essential shipping documents, coordinating shipments, and ensuring smooth communication between customers, agents, and freight partners. This entry‑level position offers exposure to international trade processes and customs procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Proforma Invoices, Sales Contracts, Invoices, Packing Lists and other shipping documents; coordinate review and approval with customers and agents.
• Arrange shipment bookings, manage loading schedules, and compile documents required for export permit applications.
• Monitor shipment tracking until arrival at the Port of Discharge and update the Logistics Manager and relevant parties.
• Communicate with customers, suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, agents and other stakeholders regarding shipments, documents, and any delays or issues.
• Maintain organized filing and records of all shipping documents.
• Provide general administrative support to the Logistics Team.

Required profile

• Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Self‑motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong time‑management and prioritisation abilities.
• Flexible and able to adapt to new tasks and challenges.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; prior logistics or shipping experience is an advantage.
