IT Business Analyst

About the role

We are looking for an IT Business Analyst to lead the definition of functional and non‑functional requirements, conduct stakeholder workshops, and ensure clear documentation throughout the project lifecycle. The role bridges business needs with technical delivery, supporting government‑level or enterprise systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive requirement documents (BRD/FRD/SRD) with stakeholder validation.
• Conduct interviews and workshops to capture functional, security, performance and compliance requirements.
• Maintain traceability from business need through specification to development hand‑over.
• Analyze change requests, assess impact, and update documentation accordingly.
• Review and validate wireframes, UI designs and facilitate design validation workshops.
• Support UAT activities, track test results, and ensure production readiness.

Required profile

• Minimum two to three years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, Project Manager or Systems Analyst.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Khmer.
• Proven ability to plan requirement studies, document processes (AS‑IS/TO‑BE) and develop user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Experience with project governance, task management tools and change‑request analysis.

Required skills

• Project management tools such as Jira or Open Project.
• Agile methodologies and knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Process‑modeling techniques and diagramming (BPMN, flow diagrams, API flows).
• Familiarity with multi‑platform environments (web, mobile).
• Ability to leverage AI tools for analysis and documentation (advantage).
