Information Technology Lead

About the role

The Information Technology Lead is a full‑time, on‑site position responsible for overseeing daily IT operations that support Kardal’s payment infrastructure. Based in Phnom Penh, the role ensures network reliability, system performance, and security for critical financial services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor network infrastructure and system performance to guarantee high availability of payment‑related systems.
• Coordinate troubleshooting activities, enforce network security policies, and manage user access controls.
• Support upgrades and implementation of new technologies, documenting processes and incident resolutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
• Drive continuous improvement of IT standards, including backup, disaster recovery, and change‑management practices.

Required profile

• Strong IT and network administration experience in enterprise environments.
• Solid network security and troubleshooting expertise to diagnose issues and mitigate risks.
• Effective customer‑service skills for communicating with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven ability to lead IT initiatives, work cross‑functionally, and prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced setting.
