Head of Trade Finance Product Strategy

About the role

The Head of Trade Finance Product Strategy will lead the definition, development and commercialization of the bank's trade finance portfolio. This senior position works closely with corporate, SME banking and cross‑functional teams to deliver innovative, profitable and compliant solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the trade finance product strategy aligned with overall business goals.
• Manage the full product lifecycle – design, pricing, launch, enhancement and retirement.
• Drive revenue growth, portfolio quality and market competitiveness.
• Lead digital transformation initiatives, including self‑service platforms and straight‑through processing.
• Conduct market research, competitive benchmarking and regulatory monitoring.
• Collaborate with risk, compliance, operations and technology to ensure robust controls and risk management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, International Trade or related field; MBA or Master’s preferred.
• 10‑12 years of banking experience with at least 5 years in trade finance, transaction banking or product management leadership.
• Proven track record of managing trade finance products, driving growth and overseeing portfolio performance.
• Experience with digital trade finance initiatives and transformation projects is highly valued.
