Full-Stack Developer

About the role

We are seeking a capable and self‑directed Full‑Stack Developer to join our Phnom Penh team. You will work across the product stack, building backend APIs and clean web interfaces for lender clients and internal operations, collaborating closely with the founding and data‑science teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Python (FastAPI or Django) and Node.js.
• Create responsive web interfaces with React and Next.js for lender‑facing dashboards and internal tools.
• Integrate third‑party data sources such as credit‑bureau APIs, satellite pipelines, and eKYC services.
• Write clean, testable code, participate in code reviews, and ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with the data‑science team to expose machine‑learning model outputs through the product.
• Contribute to database design, query optimisation, and infrastructure decisions.
• Support deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of production systems.
• Work directly with the COO and product team to translate requirements into working software.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software development experience in a full‑stack or backend role.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and manage priorities in a startup environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a small, cross‑functional team.
