Financial Controller (Hotel and Golf)

About the role

In this role you will report directly to the General Manager of the hotel and golf operations, ensuring strong alignment between hotel operations and financial performance. You combine solid financial expertise with a proactive advisory approach, keeping an overview, identifying opportunities and risks, and continuously monitoring and optimizing financial processes and results.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, control and oversee the financial administration of the hotel and golf facilities, ensuring accurate and up‑to‑date records.
• Prepare periodic financial reports, annual figures, P&L statements and balance sheets.
• Analyze financial results, identify variances and translate findings into clear insights and recommendations for management and ownership.
• Prepare management reports, forecasts and budgets, and discuss results with relevant stakeholders.
• Handle cash management, cash forecasting and oversee the insurance portfolio.
• Manage project accounting, CAPEX activities and ensure correct tax calculation, recording and timely payment.
• Control general ledger accounts, resolve discrepancies promptly and maintain strong internal control processes.
• Act as the primary point of contact for financial matters, advising management and ownership on strategic topics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, business economics or a related field.
• Proven experience in a financial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a hotel environment.
• Strong eye for detail, high accuracy with figures and reports, and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, think analytically and provide professional advice.
• Professional and discreet handling of sensitive and confidential information.
