Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead financial planning, reporting and control for construction projects, ensuring accurate accounting and effective cost management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and oversee financial models, forecasting and budgeting for construction projects.
• Manage the accounting team to ensure timely recording of transactions.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and monthly reports, including cash flow, income statements and balance sheets.
• Monitor project Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and identify variances between actual and budgeted costs.
• Manage cash flow to support project financing and operational needs.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, accounting standards (e.g., CIFRS) and local real‑estate laws.
• Implement and maintain ERP and other financial systems tailored to construction operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; CPA/ACCA preferred.
• 5‑10 years of finance experience, including 2‑3 years as an Accounting Manager or Finance Manager in construction or real‑estate.
• Strong understanding of project financing and construction accounting.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with financial software such as Cuscen and ERP solutions.
