English Teacher

About the role

The English Teacher will join AGB Consulting in Phnom Penh to design and deliver engaging English lessons for learners, following agreed curricula and educational standards. This full‑time, on‑site role involves preparing lesson plans, teaching classes, assessing performance and supporting language development.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials aligned with curriculum standards.
• Deliver English classes, assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain classroom discipline and monitor student progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues and coordinators to improve teaching quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, TESOL, TEFL or related field.
• At least 2 years of English teaching experience, preferably in Cambodia or similar contexts.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching styles to different proficiency levels.

Required skills

• Lesson planning and curriculum development.
• Use of basic educational technology and learning platforms.
